Although the home was documented by local author, the late Mary Virginia Williams Duck, in her book entitled “The Homes of Park Street in Greenville, TX”, there is little information readily available.

Per the above mentioned book, the original home site on the property was built in 1903 by Greenville banker C.B. Jones and his wife, Nettie, who occupied the home until approximately 1927.   Thomas Wynn was an ancestor of Mrs. Jones and formed the National Association of the DAR (Daughter’s of the American Revolution).  Mrs. Jones held a state office in the NSDAR, was an active club member and contributed much to the town.

The home was later acquired by the Jas F. Bland, Jr. family who remodeled the house in the early 1960’s and used some of the framing from the original structure.

Since the remodeling, the home was previously owned by pediatrician, Dr. Bill R. Toms and John and Darla McCrary.

The current owners, Jerry and Sheila Lennox, welcome you to be their guests at Angel’s Dream Bed and Breakfast.

More information to follow as it is accumulated..
